Our second cohort of content creators is currently immersed in a transformative journey that combines essential life skills training with cutting-edge digital content creation techniques. This comprehensive program is designed to equip young creators with both the technical expertise and personal development skills needed to thrive in today's digital economy.

Current Progress

The 25+ participants are currently in their intensive training phase, working on real-world projects that showcase their growing skills. Each creator is developing their unique voice and style while learning to create content that not only entertains but also educates and inspires positive change in their communities.

Innovative Civic Engagement Through Sports

In a groundbreaking initiative, The Dawn Of Obunga CBO partnered with Siasa Place to host the Peoples Assembly Sports Dialogue in Obunga. This innovative event brilliantly combined the universal language of sports with crucial civic education, creating an engaging platform for community participation and youth empowerment.

Event Highlights

• Sports Activities: Football tournaments, athletics, and community games
• Civic Education: Interactive sessions on democratic participation and civic rights
• Kazi Mtaani Registration: On-site registration for youth employment opportunities
• Political Support: Endorsement and participation by Hon. Joshua Oron, MP Kisumu Central

Community Impact

The event successfully registered over 150 young people for the Kazi Mtaani program, providing them with immediate employment opportunities. The sports component attracted participants of all ages, creating a festive atmosphere that made civic education accessible and enjoyable.

The Dawn Of Obunga CBO took center stage in World Environment Day celebrations, demonstrating our unwavering commitment to environmental conservation and community awareness. Our comprehensive approach to environmental stewardship showcased practical solutions for the environmental challenges facing our community.

• Tree Planting Drives: Planted 500+ indigenous trees across Obunga community
• Environmental Education: Workshops on climate change, waste management, and conservation
